IRCC Study Permit Updates
On October 4, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) provided updates regarding the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) program for international students.
Based on the new updates, all our bachelor’s programs continue to be eligible for up to 3-year PGWP.
The announcement introduced a French or English language proficiency requirement for all PGWP applications submitted on or after November 1, 2024.
The Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) continues to be a requirement for study permit applications. We have worked with the federal and provincial governments and are actively sourcing PALs for our incoming international students.
Our IRCC Updates Explained is a great starting point to get all your questions answered.
