Yorkville Referral Program for Employees

Recognizing the Impact of Your Advocacy

As Yorkville University staff and faculty, you help us every day in offering a student-first learning experience and transforming lives with education. You make us who we are!

We appreciate your contributions in promoting our programs and connecting us with purposeful individuals. As a sign of our gratitude, we are very pleased to introduce the Yorkville Referral Program (YRP) to recognize the impact of your advocacy.

With the YRP, you can now refer your family and friends to Yorkville University programs. In return, we will provide you with a $350 referral bonus upon the referred student’s completion of one (1) full term of courses in their program of choice.

You can also refer someone to creative diploma programs offered at Toronto Film School. Click here to learn more.

If you know someone you believe can benefit from Yorkville University programs, simply fill out the form below. We will send you and your referee emails with more information.

*Terms and Conditions apply.

Eligibility

To be eligible to participate in the YRP, referring individuals must be active Yorkville University staff or faculty (an “Eligible Staff or Faculty”).

Terms and Conditions:

The Yorkville Referral Program (the “YRP”) is offered by Yorkville University to provide an incentive to an Eligible Staff or Faculty for referring family or friends to apply for admission to a Yorkville University program of study (a “Yorkville University Program). The following terms and conditions govern the YRP, and by participating in the YRP, each Eligible Staff and Faculty agrees to these terms and conditions.

Referral Process and Incentives

  1. To refer a family member or friend, an Eligible Staff or Faculty must fill out the information form on Yorkville University’s website at https://www.yorkvilleu.ca/yorkville-referral-program-for-employees/ and include the prospective candidate’s name and contact information (the “Referred Person”). A Referred Person must be a new applicant and cannot have previously enquired or been referred, applied, or admitted to the referred program at Yorkville University.
  2. A Referred Person cannot be an employee (or their immediate family member) of Yorkville University or Toronto Film School.
  3. Upon reviewing the information form, a Yorkville University representative will contact the Referred Person to discuss and provide additional program
  4. If the Referred Person is subsequently admitted to Yorkville University and completes one (1) full term of courses in a Yorkville University Program, the Eligible Staff or Faculty will receive a $350 referral bonus (the “Referral Incentive”).
  5. While an Eligible Staff or Faculty can refer any number of individuals, each Eligible Staff or Faculty will only be permitted to receive ten (10) Referral Incentives per calendar year.
  6. The Referral Incentive(s) will be credited as part of the Eligible Staff or Faculty’s salary, after tax deductions, within thirty (30) days after the Referred Person has successfully completed one (1) full term of courses.
  7. All referrals will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, effective from the launch date of the YRP.
  8. Applications generated via agents or pathway partnerships are not eligible for a referral, and for greater certainty, any persons referred through such means shall not be considered to be a Referred Person.

  1. Termination: Yorkville University reserves the right to modify or terminate the YRP at any time without notice.
